IFR conditions changed to marginal VFR all the way to DAL. Got better as it got later. AM Aero thru Bravo airspace DFW and passed to DAL. Radio call: DFW Tower Heli 646MS. They called back. 12 miles SW of tower. Request East kind transition thru Bravo to DAL. Gave us squak code (Squak 4xxxx). Call back. Less than 1000’. Later they passed us to DAL tower. Approved direct to airport but Don’t cross runway 31R. We extended downwind. As we got closer, they asked us to climb to 2000’ and then cross runway. Got on E side and then lowered collective. Nate demonstrated left turn and with collective drop to quickly lose altitude. Landed at helipad. Signature (terminal 2) near A1 taxiway. They shuttled me to SW for flight to MSP.
