MyFlightbook - Setting up to import

MyFlightbook can recognize and import the following core attributes of each flight:

Column Name Data
Date REQUIRED - Date of the flight  in M/d/yyyy  format
Tail Number REQUIRED - Complete tail number (i.e., registration) for the airplane.  E.g., if the airplane is of US registration, you must include the "N" prefix

NOTE: You may be using "Anonymous" aircraft, which is used to log time in an aircraft (or a set of aircraft) of a specific model but where you don't have the tail number(s) of the specific aircraft. For example, you might use this if you are an airline pilot who flies a different 737 every day. You can find out the tailnumber that is used internally for anonymous aircraft that you have added to your account by viewing details of the aircraft. The tailnumber begins with a "#" followed by 6 numeric digits; e.g., "#123456".
Model The model identifier of aircraft (e.g., "B737" or "C-172").
Ignored unless the tail number cannot be found, in which case it is used to help you add the aircraft to your account.
Total Flight Time REQUIRED - Total duration of the flight
Approaches Whole number of instrument approaches for the flight
Hold "Yes" if the flight included holding procedures
Landings Whole number of landings performed on the flight, including day and night, touch-and-go's and full-stop.  This must be greater than or equal to the sum of full-stop landings
FS Day Landings Whole number of full-stop daytime landings
FS Night Landings Whole number of full-stop nighttime landings.  If this is non-zero, there must be some night flying time as well (see below).
