Telemetry Data Description

Got telemetry that you'd like to attach to your flights? Upload Telemetry to Existing Flights

You can attach fairly arbitrary data for your flight. With newer glass cockpits collecting a variety of telemetry data, this is a great way to analyze your flight.

MyFlightbook can understand many popular GPS-track formats, including:

Or, you can update pretty much any data you like in CSV format

Uploading data is really quite simple:

Note: if you use one of the mobile apps, they can automatically generate telemetry data for you. You'll want to turn on the option to record your flight (and generally the option to automatically detect takeoffs and landings). Then, as long as you have an "in-progress" flight (i.e., an engine-start time or a flight-start time without an engine-end time), the app will listen to the GPS and create a telemetry file for you.
